Here are a SIX more bucks that I have added to my hitlist. I know with the first few bucks that started my hitlist, I have had more history with those deer. These deer are however, unfamiliar to me for the most part. I have one farm that is a natural funnel between two huge sanctuaries so I tend to see a lot of different bucks.
I think for the most part this year though, a lot of these deer have moved in because two of my monster bucks have seemingly disappeared and I assume were shot last year. As I sat looking at these deer, I thought while most of these deer could use another year, at the end of the season I wouldn’t have any regrets tagging any of them. The trophy is in the eye of the beholder, and any whitetail deer taken with a bow is an achievement all on its own. The only deer on this list, I have any history with is Joker. I found his sheds in the spring of 2013 about a mile from where his picture was taken. For the most part, all of the other deer are just total mystery deer that have showed up. I am in no way complaining about the “bonus” deer however.
