Nashville Here We Come (video preview)

2013-NWTF-Convention-LogoNo we didn’t start a band! This week Victory Outdoors will be in Nashville, TN at the Grand National Calling Championships (GNCC) hosted each year by the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF). This happens at the Annual NWTF Convention and Sport Show. The sport show is a monster in of itself, every major company in the turkey woods will be there from Mossy Oak Brand Camo to call companies and gun manufactures even outfitters ready to take you on your next adventure. To say the least there is lots to see and do.

Check out the video below for a little more about GNCC.

2012 Iowa Owl Hooting

2012 Iowa Owl Hooting:
1st Curtis Goettsch, 2nd Jim Fink, 3rd Rick White

First up for me is a calling contest, Thursday morning, I’ll be calling in the Owl Hooting Grand National Calling Championships. This past year I won the Iowa Owl Hooting division at the Iowa State Calling Championships, so I hope to do well. This will be my third time calling in the GNCC, I called last year in three events and had a blast. It really is an honor to share the stage with the best callers in the world.

I will be spending the rest of my time on the floor of the Convention. On Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon you will be able to find me at the WoodHaven Custom Calls booth, number 622. Stop by say hi and check out some great calls. I also will be in and out of the Mossy Oak Booth all weekend. It’s a busy place, lots going on around there all the time.

WoodhavenLogoI will post often on the Victory Outdoor facebook page, as things happen, as well as post short videos of things we find along the way. At least a few times throughout the trip to Nashville, I will update with a post right here on Victory Outdoor with a more in depth update. If you’re going to be at the NWTF Convention and Sport Show, maybe I will run into you.
