Highest of Highs to the Lowest of Lows

Humbled and honored

Really it was kind of fun, when I was asked by a fellow outdoor writer John Phillips, of Night Hawk Publications Inc, if he could interview me for a project he was doing with PSE. I mean how does an everyday hunter and archer like myself say no to that. John asked me a few questions about PSE and how I got started shooting, how and when I started hunting with a bow, and well for those of you who have met me or talked to me on the phone I’m not short on words when it comes to talking about a sport I love. Hunting!! So after I got off the phone I was thinking to myself wow I talk a lot but……

WOW from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, as I was writing this I got a call from my dad to tell me that my Grandpa Goettsch passed away in his sleep last night. He was a big part of who I am as a person. He bought me my first books about hunting and fishing. Even got me hunting magazine subscriptions for Christmas. Told me stories about his hunting trips out west for mule deer and the cabin he owned in the mountains. Very sad news and very much unexpected!

Enjoy the read above if you wish, hold your love ones close and remember forever the ones you have lost.
