2014 Iowa State Championship Turkey Calling Contest
For the first time, I have the opportunity to defend a calling title. Last August I won my first Iowa State Turkey Calling Championship. I’m excited to be returning to Manchester, IA as always, I’ll be calling in many division but most of my focus will be on winning my second State Championship. Also see if I can improve my placing in the Open Division of 3rd last year to a possible win. Few Iowans have sweep the Iowa State and Iowa Open in the same year. If fact in my many years of calling at this event the only one that I can think that has is Rick White of Hunter Specialties. We are always looking for more callers and this contest has a division for everyone. This Sunday if you’re going to be in the NE Iowa area stop by, bring your calls, join in on the fun or just watch some of the best callers in the Mid-West do their best to get the win.

JAKES Calling Contest (Two age groups.)
Junior Division – 15yrs $5
Intermediate Division – 16yrs – 20 yrs old $10
Hunter (amateur) Division ($10 to enter)
Open to anyone who has NEVER qualified for the Grand National Calling Championship may call in the Hunter/Amateur contest.

Senior Friction Division($20 to enter) CASH PRIZES
Open to anyone who wishes to enter,
First place winners in this division will qualify for the 2015 Senior Friction Division at Grand National Calling Championship
Senior Open Division($20 to enter) CASH PRIZES
Open to anyone who wishes to enter that is 21 yrs and older,
First place winners in this division will qualify for the 2015 Grand National Calling Championship
Senior Iowa State Championship Division ($20 to enter) CASH PRIZES
Open to any Iowa State resident 21 yrs and older,
First place winners in this division will qualify for the 2015 Grand National Calling Championship
